Anna’s legal experience arises from three decades of litigation and dispute resolution practice, including successful resolution at trial, dispositive law and motion practice and many hundred mediations and arbitrations.  Her expertise in case evaluation and management targets efficient and effective planning and execution, focused on thorough fact-and-law analysis and regular communication with insureds, claims professionals, witnesses and experts.  Her insurance defense practice areas include professional negligence, general business, extended health care facility, construction defect and auto and premises personal injury actions.

 

Anna is a member of the California State and the Sacramento County bar associations and is admitted before the Appellate and Supreme Courts of California and the US District Courts for the Northern and Central Districts.  She has appeared in virtually every one of the 52 Superior court jurisdictions in the state, and has represented clients before the WCAB and Administrative Law tribunals.  Anna is also a trained and certified mediator serving as judge pro tem in Superior court settlement conferences and providing independent mediation services focused on resolution of litigated cases.
